Is it a boy or a girl?

Holy moly!! Today marks our 20th week with a little one. They say the 2nd trimester is the most comfortable of the three semesters. I think that's true. At least, it's been the most comfortable for me!! In all seriousness, Sri is doing great. She's been having a little heartburn here and there, but eating much better and feeling much better!! The scale read 156.5 lbs today at Dr. Menon's office. There was no scolding so I guess that's a good thing. We heard the heartbeat again!! It read 157 beats/minute. Pretty active kid. There's a myth that says anything over 150 is a girl. Well....I'll believe it only when I see it.

Oh, I almost forgot!! We had our ultrasound yesterday!! What a cool experience. Everything looks good...all the limbs. organs are in order and our kid gave us a thumbs up!! Check it out (top pic....the coolest thing ever!! Just giving us a heads up that everything is A-Ok. We left the hospital feeling giddy. There's actual visual proof that someone is living in Sri's tummy. We immediately starting guessing if it looked like a boy or girl. Since we are definitely in the minority about finding out the gender.....we'll have some fun with it. There are all kinds of boys' and girls' names that we have picked out. Double the fun for us!!

Our next visit is July 5th at 10:30 and all we're going to do till then is feed the girl? or is it a boy? Hmm.........I guess we'll have to wait another 16 weeks or so....right??
